Visa In case you need a visa to enter Norway, we will issue a signed invitation to the conference which can be used when applying for visa. Kindly note that it is your own responsibility to apply for visa in time. We recommend you to contact your nearest Norwegian Embassy as soon as possible to clarify visa application procedures. | Financial support The Government of Norway will provide financial support to representatives from developing country members of the Leading Group and invited NGOs. The support is limited to two Government Officials from Leading Group countries that are on the OECD/DAC list of ODA Recipients ( and one representative from each NGO (regardless of country origin). This financial support consists of two elements: | | | | | * | A travel grant will be paid out after the conference. The grants are based on the official economy class flight | | | | | rates of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Those concerned will be informed of the specific amounts after registration on the conference website. | | | | * | Accommodation including breakfast at the Radisson SAS Plaza during the conference days, for a maximum | | | | | of 3 nights,will be paid directly by the organizers. However, all personal expenses charged to the rooms during your stay must be paid by the guests concerned at check-out. | | | | | | | | | | | | |
| Weather and clothing Oslohas four distinctive seasons, and February is normally a period of cold and snowy weather. Temperatures below zero degrees Celsius should be expected. As can be seen from the programme, part of the evening activities on 6 February will take place outside (optional). Thus, we recommend that you bring warm clothes, including a coat, cap, scarf and gloves, as well as sturdy outdoor shoes. |
| Arrivals desk A Leading Group arrivals desk will be set up at Oslo Airport Gardermoen for delegates arriving on Monday 5 February. Please make sure to stop there for directions and guidance. |
| Accommodation For your convenience, we have reserved a large number of rooms at the conference hotel (Radisson SAS Plaza Hotel). The price is competitive: NOK 1285 for a standard single room. You can book one of these rooms on the conference website when you register. |
